And on his first birthday after we got married, I was all excited about buying a "Happy Birthday, Husband" card and I told several people, "I've never had a husband have a birthday before." I did have one person ask if I'd been married before and they were relieved to hear that the answer was no. Sometimes when I am annoyed with him, I tell him he's the best husband named Jeff I've ever had. I'm not sure why, but that seems less sincere... I tell my husband he’s the best husband I’ve ever had!
