I Can Sew!
Posted on May 8th, 2009.I spent the afternoon today with my Mom learning how to sew! What fun! At one point we were having a conversation about all the many crazy things she used to sew when I was little. One year she sewed tooth fairy pillows for my entire class! My Mom said she didn’t know what she was thinking volunteering to do that! She said she must have been smoking crack. I said I don’t think they had it back then and she said she must have invented it! Ha! After an eventful afternoon of sewing below is the finished product for my tiny girl to wear!
And since she doesn’t need a matching handbag just yet we decided to make her a matching burp cloth instead!

That is so cute! Can I ask what kind of a sewing machine you have? I’d love to get into sewing but it’s a bit overwhelming not knowing where to start.
