The Big Day is Here!!
Posted on February 19th, 2012.Today is Gotcha Day!!! In just a few short hours we will go meet Eliana. We are excited and nervous! Thank you to all who were praying for me during the night (my night, your day). I was feeling very very sick last night but thankfully feel better today. I still feel a bit queezy but hoping and praying as the day goes on this feeling will pass. Thank you so much for the love and support even from a far. It means so much to us.
I just wanted to share this quick video that The Archibald Project made yesterday. They asked us if we could tell Eliana anything right then what would it be. Next time I update we will have Eliana with us!

Yay!!! Happy you feel better!!! You know, as I’ve been praying, my heart began to wonder like a Mama: we always want to take on for our children the weights they tend to carry, and at times God allows us to do just that so that we may fully understand how much HE LOVES US…maybe you carried for Eliana what she WOULD have been carrying-now you BOTH are free to experience the PURE JOY of Mother & Daughter FINALLY being united ☺

We are absolutely thrilled beyond belief for you both and your precious family! We are praying for you RIGHT NOW knowing, and BELIEVING, that the Lord has gone before you paving the way that this precious girl will be completely responsive to the Lord and the story of her adoption. What an amazing blog. I (Kat) have read from the beginning of her adoption story and stand in awe of God’s grace and mercy in this whole process and YOUR willingness to do whatever it takes to follow His plan.

Parker’s message to Eliana was so heartfelt. The love God has grown in ALL of your hearts speaks so much of who He is. TODAY IS GOTCHA DAY!!!!!!!! Eliana is already with you. CELEBRATING with you all.
You don’t know me, but your son’s message made me cry. What a sweetheart. I’ve seen your updated photos, and those beautiful photos certainly tell the sweet story. Eliana is beautiful!
